I love color, couldn’t possibly choose a single one that is my favorite...other than a few, and we won’t mention their names, I think I’m in love with them all. I love how they blend and meld together under the knife, the way they swirl and sway to create the same patterns that I find in nature. If that isn’t the coolest thing, gives me a thrill just thinking about it. I get so happy just looking at color, how one shimmers against another...or the amazing depth and clarity they can achieve like fine amethyst or sapphires. I can be in the depths of the dumps, pull out a painting, and before long I’m happy again just by looking at the beautiful dance the colors do with each other.
